What makes SAMTASHI Technologies different from traditional IT support?

Unlike traditional IT providers that react after problems occur, SAMTASHI operates with a proactive AI-driven support model — featuring real-time system alerts, automated issue prevention, zero-trust cybersecurity built into every contract, strict SLA guarantees with under 15-minute remote response times, and a single accountable team managing all IT vendors.

What is Smart IT AMC and how does it work?

Smart IT AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) by SAMTASHI combines 24/7 remote monitoring (RMM), automated patch management, AI-based risk detection, smart reporting dashboards, asset lifecycle tracking, and backup verification monitoring — delivering 99.99% uptime with zero surprise failures and a response time under 15 minutes.

Which industries does SAMTASHI Technologies serve in the UAE?

SAMTASHI serves engineering consultants, interior fit-out companies, real estate developers, insurance brokers, healthcare clinics, schools and educational institutions, logistics and warehousing companies, and SMEs and corporate offices across Dubai and the UAE.

Is SAMTASHI Technologies SIRA compliant?

Yes. SAMTASHI Technologies has deep understanding of SIRA standards and UAE compliance requirements, and delivers SIRA-approved CCTV, access control, and security installations. All solutions are aligned with UAE enterprise compliance requirements.

Does SAMTASHI offer a free IT infrastructure assessment?

Yes. SAMTASHI offers a free IT Infrastructure Assessment in Dubai covering network and server audit, security vulnerability identification, backup and recovery review, and a performance improvement roadmap. Contact SAMTASHI at info@samtashi.com or +971 52 324 5759 to book.

What is SAMTASHI's SLA response time?

SAMTASHI guarantees a remote response time of under 15 minutes with 24/7 emergency support available. Their strict SLA-driven approach includes automated monitoring, dedicated helpdesk, and rapid on-site dispatch for enterprise clients across Dubai and the UAE.

An IT Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) is a service agreement where SAMTASHI manages, monitors, and maintains your IT infrastructure for a fixed annual or monthly fee, ensuring consistent uptime and performance.

What's the difference between managed IT services and an IT AMC?

An AMC is typically a maintenance-focused contract covering specific hardware and software upkeep. Managed IT services are broader — they include AMC-style maintenance plus 24/7 monitoring, helpdesk support, security management, and strategic IT planning under one SLA.

What tools do you use for remote management?

We use ManageEngine, Atera, and other enterprise-grade managed IT services tools for remote monitoring and management of your systems, giving you full visibility through a live dashboard.

Do you offer on-site support across the UAE?

Yes. Our managed IT and AMC plans include scheduled and emergency on-site support across Dubai and the UAE, dispatched against SLA-defined response windows by priority level.

Can you support Microsoft 365 environments?

Absolutely. Complete Microsoft 365 administration, support, and optimization is included as part of our managed IT services, alongside Azure and other enterprise cloud platforms.

What should I have ready before switching to a managed IT services provider?

At minimum, a rough inventory of your current hardware and software, an idea of your critical systems and acceptable downtime, and visibility into your existing support contracts. We handle the rest during the IT Assessment phase.

How fast can you respond to a critical issue?

High-priority issues — like a full network or server outage — get an immediate remote response under our SLA, with on-site dispatch immediately following if the issue can't be resolved remotely.

Is this only for large enterprises, or does it work for smaller businesses too?

Our managed IT service for business is built to scale. Packages are sized for everything from a single growing office to a multi-site UAE enterprise, with the same SLA discipline applied regardless of headcount.

How is SAMTASHI different from other managed service providers in Dubai?

Most providers offer either reactive break-fix support or a generic monitoring tool with no one actually watching it. SAMTASHI combines AI-driven monitoring with a real team behind it — certified engineers, published SLAs, and a dedicated account manager — so you get prevention and accountability, not just a dashboard.

What brands do you work with?

We work with Cisco, HP/HPE, Dell, Fortinet, Ubiquiti, Ruckus, Aruba, and other leading enterprise brands.

Do you handle the procurement as well?

Yes, we handle end-to-end project delivery including hardware procurement, installation, and configuration.

Can you upgrade existing infrastructure?

Absolutely. We assess existing infrastructure and design upgrade paths that minimize disruption and investment while maximizing performance.

How does SAMTASHI assess our current cyber security posture?

We conduct a structured security assessment covering your network perimeter, internal systems, user access controls, endpoint configuration, cloud environments, and email security. The output is a written report with a prioritised list of vulnerabilities and recommended remediation steps, ordered by the severity of risk to your business.

What cyber security threats are most common for UAE businesses?

The most frequently encountered cyber security threats in the UAE include phishing and spear-phishing attacks targeting employee credentials, ransomware campaigns, business email compromise (BEC) fraud targeting finance teams, insider threats, and exploitation of unpatched software vulnerabilities. Social engineering attacks are also increasing significantly across the GCC region.

Do you offer penetration testing as a standalone service?

Yes. Vulnerability assessments and penetration testing are available as standalone engagements, as well as part of a broader managed cybersecurity programme. Reports are provided in both technical and executive formats so findings can be communicated effectively at all levels of your organisation.

Can you help us meet UAE cybersecurity compliance requirements?

Absolutely. We help businesses align with the UAE Cybersecurity Council's national framework, NESA controls, GDPR where applicable, and industry-specific requirements such as those relevant to healthcare, finance, and government-adjacent sectors. Compliance is built into our solution design process, not bolted on at the end.

What is the difference between cybersecurity services and managed IT services?

Managed IT services cover the broad operational management of your technology environment — helpdesk, monitoring, patching, and day-to-day support. Cybersecurity services focus specifically on protecting that environment from threats, breaches, and unauthorised access. SAMTASHI provides both, and many clients benefit from having these under a single provider to eliminate the visibility gaps that exist when different companies manage IT and security separately.

How quickly can SAMTASHI respond to a cyber security incident?

Our cyber security support services include a defined incident response process with same-day response commitments under SLA. For active breaches or ransomware events, our team moves immediately to containment, limiting damage while the investigation begins in parallel.

Which cybersecurity vendors and tools does SAMTASHI work with?

We work with leading enterprise security vendors including Fortinet, Cisco, Sophos, Microsoft (Defender, Sentinel, Purview), and other best-in-class security platforms. Tooling is selected based on your environment and requirements, not based on what is easiest for us to deploy.

What are cloud backup solutions and how do they work?

Cloud backup solutions automatically copy your business data, including files, databases, server images, emails, and application data, to secure, offsite cloud storage at defined intervals. The data is encrypted before it leaves your environment, transmitted securely, and stored across geographically redundant infrastructure. When a recovery is needed, data can be restored to its original location or an alternative system, depending on the recovery scenario. SAMTASHI manages the full process under a defined SLA, including daily monitoring, alert response, and regular recovery testing.

What is Backup as a Service (BaaS) and is it right for my business?

Backup as a Service is a fully managed, subscription-based model where your entire backup infrastructure — scheduling, storage, monitoring, and recovery — is operated by a specialist provider rather than your internal team. SAMTASHI offers this as a complete managed service. It is particularly well suited for businesses that lack dedicated IT staff, are scaling quickly, or have had backup failures in the past and want a more accountable arrangement going forward.

Does Microsoft 365 back up my business data automatically?

No. Microsoft 365 retains deleted items for a limited period under its standard policies, but it does not provide a true backup service. Email, Teams messages, SharePoint files, and OneDrive data can be permanently lost through deliberate deletion, ransomware encryption, or licence cancellation without a third-party backup in place. SAMTASHI's data and application backup services cover the complete Microsoft 365 environment with granular, point-in-time recovery and long-term retention.

What is the difference between cloud sync and cloud backup?

Cloud sync, such as OneDrive or Google Drive, mirrors your live data to the cloud. If a file is deleted or corrupted locally, the change syncs to the cloud immediately, meaning the cloud copy is also deleted or corrupted. Cloud backup, by contrast, stores independent, versioned copies of your data that are not affected by live changes. This is why cloud sync is not a substitute for a proper cloud backup solution.

Can you provide cloud backup solutions for small business?

Absolutely. SAMTASHI's cloud backup solutions for small business are sized and priced to match the scale of your operation. We do not sell enterprise-scale complexity to businesses that do not need it. You get automated daily backups, encrypted cloud storage, monitoring, and recovery support at a cost that is realistic for a small team.

What are the best cloud backup solutions for servers?

The best cloud based backup solutions for servers combine agent-based image backups with cloud replication, AES-256 encryption, and tested recovery procedures. SAMTASHI works with enterprise-grade backup platforms to protect physical Windows and Linux servers as well as virtual machines running on VMware and Hyper-V. The right solution depends on your server environment, retention requirements, and recovery time objectives, which is why every engagement starts with an assessment, not a product recommendation.

How quickly can you recover our data after an incident?

Recovery time depends on the scope of the loss and your pre-agreed RTO targets, which are defined at the start of every engagement. For file-level recoveries, restoration is typically completed within minutes to hours. For full server recoveries from cloud backup, this ranges from one to several hours depending on data volume and network capacity. These targets are tested before an incident occurs, not estimated during one.

What happens if a backup job fails?

Our monitoring system detects failed or incomplete backup jobs automatically and triggers immediate engineer review. We investigate the cause, resolve the issue, and run a catch-up backup before the next scheduled window. You receive notification and confirmation once the issue is resolved, so you are never left with an undetected gap in your backup coverage.

What are ELV systems and what do they include?

ELV stands for Extra Low Voltage. ELV systems are all the electronic communication, security, and building management technologies that operate at voltages below 50 volts AC. In a commercial environment, this covers structured data cabling, IP telephony, CCTV surveillance, access control, biometric attendance systems, intercom and door entry, and PA systems. A professionally designed ELV integrated and customised infrastructure brings all of these together into a single coordinated system that is safe, efficient, and compliant with UAE regulatory requirements.

What makes SAMTASHI different from other ELV systems companies in Dubai?

Most ELV systems companies in Dubai specialise in one or two disciplines, such as cabling or CCTV, and subcontract the rest. SAMTASHI designs, installs, and integrates every ELV discipline in-house, under a single project team with one point of accountability. That means coordinated routing, no cabling conflicts between systems, unified integration, and a single company responsible for the outcome from survey to handover, along with complete as-built documentation.

Do your CCTV installations meet SIRA requirements in Dubai?

Yes. SAMTASHI's CCTV installations are executed to SIRA (Security Industry Regulatory Agency) compliance standards. We design camera layouts for the coverage requirements specified by SIRA, use approved equipment, configure recording parameters to the required standards, and provide the documentation needed for regulatory sign-off.

What structured cabling standards do you follow?

We follow TIA/EIA-568 standards for all structured cabling installations. All cable runs are installed by certified cabling technicians and tested using Fluke network analysers before handover. Every installation receives a full test report with per-port results, confirming that the cabling meets the performance specification for the category installed, whether Cat6, Cat6A, or fibre.

Can you integrate multiple ELV systems into a unified platform?

Yes. ELV system integration is one of SAMTASHI's core capabilities. We design ELV integrated and customised infrastructure where CCTV, access control, intercom, and building management components operate through a centralised management platform, rather than as separate, disconnected systems. This enables coordinated security responses, simplified management for facilities teams, and a cleaner operational environment overall.

Do you handle ELV projects for new office fit-outs?

Absolutely. New office fit-outs are one of the most common project types we manage. We work from architectural drawings or an on-site survey, design all ELV systems in coordination with the fit-out timeline, and install structured cabling, telephony, CCTV, access control, and any other required ELV systems before the fit-out is completed, so the space is fully operational on day one.

What is the difference between ELV systems and IT infrastructure?

IT infrastructure refers to the active network components — servers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, and the software that runs on them. ELV systems refer to the physical and low-voltage foundation those components connect through — structured cabling, security systems, communication infrastructure, and building management technology. SAMTASHI provides both, so the same team that designs and installs structured cabling also configures network switches and manages the server environment, with no gaps between the physical layer and the active layer.

Do you provide maintenance and support for ELV systems after installation?

Yes. Post-installation support and maintenance for all ELV systems is available under a defined SLA. This covers preventive maintenance visits, fault response, component replacement, and system upgrades as requirements evolve. Clients who choose managed ELV maintenance have a named support contact, a documented response time, and a single call to resolve any issue across all their installed systems.

What camera brands do you install for CCTV installation Dubai projects?

We supply and install Hikvision, Dahua, Axis, Hanwha, and other leading IP camera brands, matched to your budget, coverage needs, and site conditions.

Can CCTV and access control work as one integrated system?

Yes. We design integrated CCTV solutions where cameras, biometric or card-based access control, and intercoms operate through a single management platform.

Are you a certified CCTV installation company in Dubai?

SAMTASHI is a professional CCTV installation company that Dubai businesses across real estate, healthcare, retail, and logistics rely on, with certified CCTV technician teams trained on SIRA-aligned installation and documentation standards.

What does your CCTV AMC support actually cover?

Our CCTV AMC support includes scheduled inspections, firmware and software updates, backup recording checks, and priority repair dispatch, delivered as a proactive maintenance service rather than reactive callouts.

How often should CCTV maintenance Dubai services be scheduled?

We recommend quarterly inspections as a baseline, with more frequent checks for high-dust or high-heat outdoor installations. Regular CCTV maintenance protects footage quality and extends hardware lifespan.

Do you offer security camera installation in Dubai for existing buildings, not just new builds?

Yes. Most of our security camera installation projects are retrofits, upgrading legacy analog systems, closing coverage gaps, or migrating an existing setup onto a centralized platform.

Can I access my cameras remotely after installation?

Yes, every deployment includes secure remote access and mobile viewing, configured during installation so you can monitor footage live from anywhere.

What happens if a camera or recorder fails?

Clients under a CCTV AMC support plan get priority dispatch. Our certified CCTV technician teams diagnose the fault, repair or replace hardware, and confirm recording integrity before closing the ticket.

Can you port our existing phone numbers?

Yes, we handle complete number porting from your existing provider to the new IP phone system, so your business keeps the same numbers customers already know.
